Close Call

Our basement flooded.  Luckily, everything I am taking to the con was upstairs.

Wednesday Morning Logistics

I will be picking Bruce up about 7:00 AM.

We will swing by and get Matt F at around 7:30 AM.

We will then head to Dave's. David should meet us at Dave's house at 8:00 AM.

18 Maplefield
Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069

We will do the final pack on the cars and head out. If we want to stop for fast food breakfast we can.

Car game of PFS.

Steak N Shake for lunch.

Arrive in Indy.

Who Owes Whom Money??

Chris owes us all money!  W00t!  Chris owes $210 for the hotel... which means (INSERT MATH HERE) that he owes the rest of us 42 dollars.  (Each?  OF COURSE, EACH!)

BRUCE owes ME 36 dolla (6 event tickets)
CHRIS owes ME 36 dolla (6 event tickets)

BRUCE, DAVE, and MATT owe KEITH for gas money down.  UNKNOWN person(s) will owe DAVID and/or KEITH for gas on the way up.

Updated Schedule

Final schedule for me (and by default Chris).  I know David wanted to play Bonekeep but I dont have a hint as to his itinerary.  Chime in if you other mooks are playing the same events.  We can do another spreadsheet!  *nerdgasm*

Thursday 8am, Horn of Aroden: Dave, Chis
Thursday 7pm, The Paths We Choose: Bruce, Dave, Chris, David
Friday 8am, The Merchant's Wake: Matt F.
Friday 1pm, Assault on the Wound: Bruce, Dave, Chris, Matt F.
Friday 7pm, Legacy of the Stone Lords: Bruce, Dave, Chris
Saturday 8am, Trial by Machine: Matt F.
Saturday 8am, Assault on the Wound: Keith
Saturday 1pm, Weapon in the Rift: Bruce, Dave, Chris, Matt F.
Saturday 7pm, Bonekeep 3: Bruce, Keith, Dave, David.  I had a brainfart and ordered a ticket for Keith for some reason, which would be available for Chris, if he decides he wants to play another pregen.  If I was him I might be tired of pregens by then, but who knows.
Sunday 9am, Vengeance at Sundered Crag: Bruce, Dave, Chris, Keith
Sunday 9am, The Silver Mount Collection: Matt F.

Hotel Issues - We are not staying where we thought we were

The eagle-eyed Matt F, pointed out that our hotel is 13 miles from the convention center. It is not in fact the one within walking distance. It sucks but we could have worse problems.

This will mean that we will need to plan our convention logistics a little tighter. I think that most of us have late games so heading back to the hotel will not be too bad. Some of us have early games which could work out poorly for those expecting to sleeep in. That will either mean getting up an going early or having to catch a cab.

I was planning to be at the convention for an 8:00 am game on Friday and a 9:00 game on Sunday. I can survive with getting to the convention center by 8:00 each day. Many of us will be at the con until 12:00 AM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We just may not all be in the same place. I likely have plans Sunday after the con for a while with the Hex folks. I could likely let you guys take the car back to the hotel but then someone would need to come and get me when I am done. We will also have 2 cars but David's car is not as big as mine.

Is everyone's game scheduled up to date in the Gen Con system?

Two Days!

Less than 48 hours boyz.  Woo Hoo.

So are we stopping at Steak and Shake on the way down there?

Or are we doing something else?

the Drive-down adventure

The desert sands of Osirion conceal an untold number of ruins and tombs, lost to memory over the millennia-long span of the nation’s history. Even today, the fickle winds of sandstorms can reveal structures hitherto unknown for thousands of years, and seemingly untouched by time. Such unplundered tombs can be an archaeological windfall, but would-be explorers should exercise caution, for the pharaohs of old jealously guarded their possessions against intruders with traps, unliving guardians, and potent curses.

Communication from the Pathfinder Guild :
In the depths of the Osirian desert, a sandstorm has recently uncovered a mighty pyramid that was buried beneath the sand for ages. Lost for centuries, the pyramid has not yet revealed its secrets, but one crumbling papyrus scroll found in the Great Library of Tephu contains references to the tomb of an ancient
Osirian king known only as the Pharaoh of Sphinxes. Word of the pyramid’s discovery has spread far and fast. Archaeologists, explorers, and tomb robbers from across the Inner Sea are gathering in Osirion’s taverns and inns to plan expeditions into the desert, each vying to be the first to plunder the tomb’s treasures.

We would like you & your team to be the 1st in, and discover it's secrets.
