How are we getting to Gen Con?

We need to determine who is driving to Gen Con. As I said before, I cannot get a company vehicle this year. My vehicle is not large enough to take all of us and all of our stuff. In addition, I am going to be over miles and I need to watch how many miles I drive between now and the end of my lease.

Renting a large enough car is going to be stupid expensive. Something like $500-1000 for a week depending on what we would pick. So that option appears to be out.

Who can drive? Dave mentioned he might be able to drive and he also said that he wanted to be the driver on the way home as he has been getting car sick as a passenger. Can David drive? I know that he recently got a new car.

If I have to drive, I will be taking my wife's car. It is small so I can take one other person and their stuff max.

    1. Cool. How much room do you have for people and stuff?

    2. Probably enough room for three people and their stuff, or one GM. Lol

  2. If I drive, I dont recommend more than 1 passenger. We are all large and the back seat is better suited to carry moar stuffs.

  3. Are we five again this year? Or has our number changed?

  4. We are five - Keith, Bruce, Dave, Steve and David.

  5. 3+2 sounds like proper math. If we can keep Dave's back seat free for all the swag and loot we will acquire as murdering hobo's.

    3. Yeah but a van +1 other car is better than a sedan and a hatchback.

  9. If you want to take your van, that would be great. If you have a roof rack, we can take the car top carrier with no issues.

If I can leave my car at Bruce's, you can come and pick Bruce and me up there.

  11. Looks like we're firm on who's driving. FFSS will collect Keef and Bruce. Shall I collect Red-Headed Step-Dave and meet the northern contingent somewhere along the way?

BTW, here's a current map of construction around Indy: http://pws.trafficwise.org/pws/
