Do we want to plan any RPG games to play at the hotel? If so, should I earmark a PFS adventure or two for just that purpose? I expect that it would need to be a low tier adventure to accomodate everyone. If folks want to do something other than PFS, I would like to know so that I can be prepared and bring along the proper stuff. I will obviously have my Pathfinder and my HEX stuff but anything other than that will require more planning.
My schedule only reliably allows for gaming on Wednesday after we settle in and likely in the evening on Sunday. Assuming there is a post-con get together with the HEX/Ubiquity folks I would like to attend that. I would guess I would be free by 7:00 or so.
I assume that Bruce will want to run something on the car ride down. This year's Free RPG Day adveture, Risen from the Sands will be out in May. It is meant for 3rd level characters. Assuming it is sactiond for PFS credit, I would expect it to be a tier 2-4 adventure.
Sounds good to me. Would do Chris good to have some xp before hitting the tables.
ReplyDeletei agree. i also would like to play at the hotel pre-con, if only to get Chris in-the-mood.
ReplyDeletei don't think hes played any living campaigns before.
so a short game after tamales would be good.
I can try to save something new or we can play one of the replayable tier 1-2 things (First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore, The Confirmation, Master of the Fallen Fortress or We Be Goblins!) so everyone can get a chronicle sheet.
DeleteWe might even have time to try on as play-by-blog before the con if folks are commited and interested. If we did that, I would suggest Master of the Fallen Fortress.
hey Dave (or Keith) does something have to be done so that i get an email every time this blog is commented on ?

DeleteCan I phone you dave?
ReplyDeleteyou want to make your character over the phone? We can do that - although I dont want to list my number here in the innernets. Message me on FB for it

Deletespeaking of car-ride-down-adventure, do we know who will be riding in said car?
ReplyDeleteI think we are looking at me, you, Dave and Matt F. David made some noise about driving on his own. If I can get a bigger vehicle from work (I will know next week) we could all drive together if that is what folks want.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of character did you help Chris make?
